It doesn't matter whether or not your hypothesis gets accepted or rejected. What matters is that you correctly identify whether or not the hypothesis was supported.
If paper towel brand A picks up 3 tsp of water, brand B picks up 4 tsp of water, and brand C picks up 5 tsp of water, and your hypothesis is that 'There is no difference in the amount of water absorbed by different brands of paper towels.', do you accept or reject your hypothesis?
